The equipment is made of stainless steel 304 or 316L, with sanitary polishing inside and outside, a novel structure, and convenient operation. The filtration system of this machine consists of multiple overlapping layers of filter screens and frames. The screen holes are precision-punched by computer, featuring small, evenly distributed openings, ensuring uniform pressure across each layer of filter material and enhancing filtering accuracy.

Working Principle of Stainless Steel Stacked Filter

The liquid enters the filter cylinder through the inlet pipe under the push of an external pump, usually by pressurizing the liquid. The liquid flows into the small holes around the filter frame and begins to distribute to each layer of filter material. The liquid enters the filter material through the filter frame, and impurities are trapped on the surface or inside the filter material. The clean liquid continues to pass through the filter material and flows to the small hole in the center of the filter plate. Finally, it flows out from the filter outlet pipe and becomes a qualified liquid after filtration.

Stacked Plate and Frame Filter VS Ordinary Plate and Frame Filter Press

This machine uses mechanical compression and a fully enclosed flange connection to prevent leakage, while ordinary plate and frame filter press uses a silicone seal, which is soft and cannot guarantee leakage.

This machine has a large flow rate because it enters the filter through multiple inlets, and each layer of the filter frame has multiple holes in the middle to enter the inner cavity for filtration, and then comes out from the multiple holes in the middle of the mesh plate, thereby fully ensuring a large amount of liquid in and out, shortening the filtration cycle, while the ordinary plate and frame filter press has only one feed port, which cannot ensure a large flow rate.

The filtration area is large, the volume is small, the occupied area is small, the space is small, and the machine has double mesh plates for filtration, which ensures a large filtration surface and is lightweight. The area of the ordinary plate and frame filter press can also be made larger, but it is large in volume and heavy in weight.
