The grille decontamination machine also referred to as a “solid-liquid separator,” is widely utilized in urban sewage treatment plants, water plants, pumping stations, and power plant water inlets, where it functions to automatically intercept and remove floating debris from the water, ensuring the smooth operation of subsequent processes; It is also applicable for solid-liquid separation in various industries, including textile manufacturing, printing and dyeing, slaughtering, leather production, papermaking, sugar refining, winemaking, and food processing.

Working Principle

This equipment features a rotary design and is constructed using ABS engineering plastics, nylon, or stainless steel. The uniquely shaped teeth are systematically arranged along the horizontal axis in a specific assembly sequence, forming a continuous tooth chain. Based on the water flow rate, various gaps are assembled and positioned at the entrance of the pump station or water treatment system, with the lower section securely installed within the water inlet channel.

As the driving device propels the rake chain in an upward motion from bottom to top, debris present in the water is captured by the rake chain, while the liquid flows through the grating gaps. Upon reaching the upper apex, the equipment alters the movement direction of the rake chain, guiding it downward from top to bottom. At this stage, the collected material naturally detaches from the rake teeth due to its own weight. As the rake teeth rotate from the back to the bottom, a new cycle of continuous operation commences, ensuring the ongoing removal of debris from the water and effectively achieving solid-liquid separation.
